Translation guide

If you want to translate LotATC/Lome, it is not complex, do not hesitate!

Which language is already available?

• English file: export:/trunk/i18n/lome_en.ts
• French file: export:/trunk/i18n/lome_fr.ts
• Spanish file: export:/trunk/i18n/lome_es.ts
• Croatian file: export:/trunk/i18n/lome_hr.ts
• Russian file: export:/trunk/i18n/lome_ru.ts
• German file: export:/trunk/i18n/lome_de.ts
• Chineese file: export:/trunk/i18n/lome_zh.ts
• Polish file: export:/trunk/i18n/lome_pl.ts

What you need

• Get the  QtLinguist software
• The LotATC/Lome i18n file (same files for LOME and LotATC, translate one times for two software):
  • The default one (if you have not start a translation ) export:/trunk/i18n/lome_en.ts
  • The specific one (if it already exist and you want update it ) export:/trunk/i18n/lome_fr.ts for French for example

And after?

• Launch QtLinguist
• Open the lome_en.ts
• Make your translation (A tutorial is available here:  Manual
• Save your lome_xx.ts
• Release the file in lome_xx.qm when you have finished
• Test them by placing your lome_xx.qm in the i18n/ directory of Lome/LotATC

How I can publish my translation?

• Send me your the *.ts and *.qm files thought the  forum
